the same programs but are specialists in their respective areas.

HOSPITALIZATION
Psychological and medical assessments
are the beginning of our drug addiction, alcoholism program.
Our treatment programs vary in length and intensity of treatment,
and are individualized for each patient based on assessment.
Our medical facilities provide
a proven method for drug and alcohol detoxification. With medical
evaluation, psychological evaluation and continuing education,
our goal is not only the treatment of the disease but reducing
any chance of relapse. We at Treatment Centers of America,
Inc., subscribe to the fundamentals of self-help and
12-Step Programs to aide in the continued recovery process.
We are aware of the unsuccessful
past recovery attempts of many of our patients. The proper evaluation
of our patient's mental and physical condition is our primary
goal. Once a patient, through psychiatric and medical evaluation
is diagnosed, an effective course of treatment that combines
education with treatment is undertaken. Education is essential
to maximizing the recovery process.

PARTIAL
HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM
For those patients who live locally, we offer a Partial Hospitalization
Program. Partial Hospitalization has the same day program and
benefits as the Structured Residential Program. Partial Hospitalization
clients continue to reside at home while attending the day treatment
program six days a week or what is clinically indicated. To
enter the Partial Hospitalization program, the patient's treatment
team must approve the living at home for the patient. In some
cases it may not be recommended based on the particular circumstances
of the home environment.

INTENSIVE
OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Intensive Outpatient Program
is structured to maintain a recovery-centered lifestyle while
continuing to function in other life areas or during transition
from a higher level of care back to the home, community, and
work environment. Designed for voluntary patients, 18 years
and older the program offers education, counseling, and support
that will allow patients to be successful in their recovery.
The program strives to provide a safe environment where healthy
life skills are taught in addition to relapse prevention skills.
Intensive Outpatient Programs are held on various days and at
various times to insure that the out side life functions and
schedules of our patients is not interrupted.
The Intensive Outpatient Program offers individual and group
counseling, which includes addiction education and relapse prevention.
Family participation and involvement is encouraged. Individual
family therapy is also offered and can be scheduled according
to the needs of the family/significant others. The participation
of family/significant others can be important to the success
of a person's recovery.

OUTPATIENT
PROGRAM & THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
There are those individuals whose addiction or alcoholism
has not progressed to the point where inpatient treatment is
indicated. Outpatient treatment is comprised of educational
classes, experiential groups, individual and family therapy.
The goal is for each individual to maintain abstinence from
all mood and mind altering substances. Prior to admission, a
thorough evaluation is performed to establish a person's appropriateness
for Outpatient. This level of care is not for everyone and we
pay special attention when it comes to matching a person's clinical,
medical and psychiatric needs to a particular level of care.

charges. Treatment Centers of America, Inc. has
experience working with attorneys and courts. Drug and Alcohol
treatment is frequently an alternative to jail terms and other
